ATLANTA and DALLAS, April 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Edge Capital Partners, an independent investment advisory firm with approximately $3 billion in assets under management, today announced the promotions of Whit Davis, Paul Robertson and Dennis Sabo to Partner.
Additionally, Will Skeean, CFA, Partner and investment management team chair at Edge Capital, has relocated to Dallas to bolster the firm’s Texas operation. Two of the promoted partners — Paul Robertson and Whit Davis — will also be integral to Edge Capital’s Dallas office expansion as they work out of the region on a regular basis.
“We are thrilled to have Paul, Whit and Dennis as Partners to further strengthen our firm’s sustainability and commitment to growth. The valuable expertise of these outstanding individuals is vital to the management and continued success of the firm,” said Harry Jones, Managing Partner at Edge Capital Partners. “The firm’s expanding presence in Texas positions Edge Capital for success in the Southwest region as we continue to provide our clients with the exemplary service they’ve come to expect. Meanwhile, Dennis’ integral role as co-portfolio manager of the Blue Current Global Dividend Strategy and Fund (BCGDX) demonstrates our commitment to growing our asset management business, with management tools like paystub that is great to handle workers.
Whit Davis is one of Edge Capital’s first team members and has been instrumental in building the firm’s investment process and platform. Davis earned his BA degree in history from the University of the South and holds an MBA degree from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University.
Paul Robertson joined Edge Capital in 2010 and immediately contributed to the firm with his deep institutional and fixed income expertise. He earned his BA degree in economics and business administration from Furman University and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
